Sunfest in cooperation with Cuckoo's Nest and London Irish Folk Club present Direct from Ireland, TULUA.

A fresh and energetic sound of traditional Irish music, TULUA have been deeply exploring music and songs of their local area and other parts of Ireland, bringing the audience with them on a captivating journey of songs about love, tunes about life and everything in between. Their rooted passion for playing music has evolved together from a young age, and the four of them now wholeheartedly explore the possibilities with music and songs to create a performance unique to them.

Since their debut album (2023), they have toured in countries around the world (Ireland, Canada, Australia, Germany, Netherlands, France, USA) and gathered over 90,000 online streams and 2000 copies sold. They were official showcase artists at the 2025 Folk Alliance International Conference in Montreal, have been part of many renowned festivals and projects throughout their time (Stan Rogers Festival, Milwaukee Irish Fest, Lorient Festival in Brittany France, National Celtic Folk Festival in Australia, Creative Ireland Projects and more) and have performed extensively in The National Opera House of Ireland.

THE BAND: Wexford born Cian O’ Grady is a multi-instrumentalist who brings a driving force to Irish music. While developing his passion through years of local sessions, he progressed his style with the Irish bouzouki, guitar, banjo and later finding a passion for music technology and recording. He has won several awards throughout the years ranging from the All-Ireland Fleadh winnings to scholarship awards for his studies in Music Technology. Kayleigh Moran is a renown fiddle player around Ireland with her presence in the Irish trad scene being prominent from an early age. Her intricate and driven style of fiddle playing holds the center of attention for many while being an integral part to the group as well as her unique and unforgettable voice which has led her to achieve several awards over the years including the All-Ireland Fleadh. Diarmaid Murphy is a name known to many in the world of Irish flute playing with his expressive slow airs and engaging session playing. Alongside playing mandolin, his style is instantly noticeable with his unique flairs and polished ornamentation to Irish tunes which has managed to achieve multiple All-Ireland titles in the Fleadh, of which he contributes to being a central aspect to the band. Ella McGrory has travelled the world with her music, playing with various projects and musicians. A music graduate from University of Limerick, she is a recent addition to the band, bringing her beautiful piano and fiddle in their very essence. Ella’s sweet and driven style is recognised by many as a distinct feeling and has captured many audiences through her performances. An Inishowen native, she continues to creatively involve herself in every song and tune.
